The Texas FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) Texas Chapter is pleased to invite you to our 1st Leadership for Women in Law Enforcement (LWLE) Conference, which will be held in Houston, Texas, September 14 – 16, 2022. This exciting event will take place at the Sheraton Houston Brookhollow Hotel, 3000 North Loop W., Houston, TX, (713) 688-0100, from September 14 – September 16, 2022.
The purpose of the 3-day conference is to bring together leaders from across the state of Texas to exchange views and information; to network and meet like-minded professionals; and to get up to speed on the latest leadership concepts and trends. It’s also an opportunity for participants to assess their own leadership skills.
The conference will include, but not limited to: Mental Health for Law Enforcement Concerning Women; Sexual Harassment; Women Leaders in Predominately Male Organizations; Developing Women Leaders - Executive Coaching; Strategic Management; Communication Skills for Women; Developing Emotional Intelligence; and Crash Course Leadership Skills for the Transitioning First-Time Manager or Supervisor.
This event will not only incorporate extensive discussions, but will also consist of guest speaker sessions and scintillating social events that will help our future leaders to develop professional networks. This is also a great opportunity for participants to build confidence, relationships, and new skills from law enforcement leaders across the state of Texas.
Tuition cost for participants is $500.00. Lodging is available but not required at the Sheraton Brookhollow Hotel, 3000 North Loop W, Houston, Texas. The conference rate is $120.00+Taxes per room, per night, 713-688-0100. Continental breakfast and lunch are included for all participants.
